I love fall...from Nov. 4-9ish

Running a little behind on the blog...I had started this post a week ago...
This has been one of the most beautiful autumns. The weather has been perfect, and the leaves are gorgeous. We feel so spoiled living here. Fall is definitely my favorite season, especially when my dad starts making his famous Chex mix. He made a batch on Monday, and it was completely gone by Friday.

Hudson displaying some of his bubble-blowing skills.
Alden didn't have school this past Monday, but we kept busy running some errands. We went to the park quite a few days this week, and have loved being outside. We spent about 20 minutes one day throwing pinecones in the creek, and another day, Alden found a plastic octopus in the sandbox that she put on the swings and down the slide.
This past weekend was again, amazing. We went to the pool park yesterday morning, and played for a long time. Alden helped Bebe and Poppop rake leaves, and Matt and I went to Pittsboro to meet with a realtor. We like Apex a lot, but are interested in the possibility of being in a smaller town, and having more land. Pittsboro is a really cute town, and that area is growing a lot. We had a great meeting, and are trying to figure out the best scenario as far as buying, building, etc...
Alden helped give Hudson a bottle while we were in Pittsboro.
We have all been fighting a bit of a cold the past few days, so we laid low Sunday after church. Of course, if that is our plan, Alden only slept 20 minutes. We put her to work though, and while we raked some more leaves, Alden helped Matt shovel acorns into the wheelbarrow.
